Market Street Wineshop & Fleurie Restaurant excitedly announce


A Progressive wine tasting and wine dinner with Mas Daumas Gassac, “The Grand Cru of the Midi.”

Tuesday May 23rd

This dinner has two parts, first a free wine tasting, open to all, at Market Street Wineshop Downtown from 5-7 with Virgile Rousseau of Mas Daumas Gassac. Then at 7 we will walk directly over to Fleurie Restaurant for four more wines with three courses. Virgile will discuss the wines as we move up the portfolio to the winery’s flagship wines. Reservations are needed for the Fleurie dinner. The Fleurie dinner will be $45 per person (plus tax & gratuity).

Five wines will be tasted at the Wineshop:

  • 2016 Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Blanc
  • 2015 Pont de Gassac Blanc
  • 2016 Moulin de Gassac Rosé
  • 2015 Moulin de Gassac Pinot Noir
  • 2015 Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Rouge


As guests arrive at Fleurie they will be greeted with a glass of bubbles: 

  • 2015 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rosé Frizant with passed canapes

Guests will sit for a fish appetizer

  • 2016 Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc

Followed by a beef or lamb appetizer paired with 2 reds:

  • 2015 Pont De Gassac Guibert Rouge
  • 2014 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge
