Andeluna “1300” Malbec 2016 – $14.99
It’s been a long time since we had any Andeluna wines in the store, but after tasting the new vintage of their Malbec, we might have to change that. Andeluna is named for both the Andes Mountains, whose year-round snowpack is the life-giving water source for all of western Argentina, and the Moon, which influences many parts of grape-growing and winemaking. Aromas of cassis, violets and dark chocolate entice one to dive into the darkly-fruited palate of black raspberry and mocha. Robust, yet smooth, this Malbec definitely delivers.
