Moulin de Gassac, “Guilhem” Blanc 2016
(40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Terret Blanc.)
This astonishing blend of Grenache, Sauvignon and Terret results in a seriously fresh wine, with expressive aromas of white flowers. Shows a delicate, pretty nose of acacia and pear and a mid-weight, harmonious palate of lemon, dill and green olive. Try with coconut fish curry, penne al pesto, seafood gratin or cheese soufflé. Variously described as “Lafite in the Languedoc” (Gault & Millau), “the only Grand Cru of the Midi” (Hugh Johnson) and “exceptional” (Robert Parker), Mas de Daumas Gassac has consistently been the Languedoc gold standard for the past four decades. The 80-hectare, organically-farmed estate is located deep in the sultry Midi, but enjoys a temperate microclimate as a result of altitude, which gives the wines a lovely deftness of touch.

(100% Insolia D.O.C Sicilia Bianco)

These vines provide living testimony to family tradition and their ability to carefully and constantly safeguard the surrounding environment and local history. Citrus fruits and jasmine scent, very fresh and fruity, acidity in balance.Best paired with: appetizers, fresh cheeses, party wine.

Moulin de Gassac, “Guilhem” Rose 2016
(Languedoc, France)

Made from equal parts Syrah and Carignan, this medium-bodied and versatile Languedoc rose will stand up to lots of summer fare. And it is fine by itself – a very floral and mineral nose results from chalky clay soil with limestone and quartz chips.

CMS Red, Washington State’s original blended red wine, has been produced and bottled by the estate since 1987. Consistently recognized as one of the best values in Washington State, CMS Red combines elegance and historic blending practices with top quality vineyard sources in the Columbia Valley. A style consistent with classic northern latitude wine growing, the CMS Red is known for a more Columbia Valley AVA regionally driven style, giving way to purity and structure over modernity.

In 1976 Anne-Marie Liegeois said goodbye to her life in Champagne, France and left for the United States with her new husband Tom Hedges. The DLD Syrah is an homage to both the Dupont and Liegeois sides of her family. This wine is dedicated to her grand-father Marcel Dupont, Chevalier du Tastevin and bon-vivant, lover of good food and great wines. Grown on a 15 acre vineyard, named Les Gosses, this wine displays the greatest qualities of low yield farming. Earth, fennel spice and structure, the hallmarks of a great Red Mountain syrah, framed by classic French Oak barrels.
